"It's something like a mini gangster opera," Robbie says of Tripping, "Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch combined." With a chorus featuring a light-trousered falsetto that climbs the scales like a fireman climbs a ladder, and almost disco on it's lofty ascent, the track was influenced by the early sounds of The Clash.

Chart Highlights:

Hitting the No.1 spot in both the UK and Germany, Tripping also scored a Top Ten hit for Robbie. Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Italy, Holland, Ireland and Australia.

On top of that, it was the highest debut in France, peaking at No.16.
